Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will assist in the performance of functions of formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will provide information about, and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) conducting financial analysis, budget formulation, or cost analysis; (2) preparing financial reports, summaries, or documentation; (3) monitoring and tracking financial program performance or compliance; and (4) coordinating financial activities with internal or external stakeholders. For GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) assisting with basic financial analysis, budget preparation, or accounting functions; (2) supporting financial data collection, verification, or reporting activities; (3) using financial management systems or databases to input, retrieve, or track financial information; and (4) providing administrative support for financial programs or operations.
