ABOUT THE ROLE
As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. We are seeking an Indirect Tax Intern for Summer 2026 who is passionate about accounting and business, driven by curiosity, and keen to grow, learn, develop, and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning May 27th, 2026.
This internship will be based at our regional office in Dundee, MI.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
We are currently seeking the best and brightest students for our Corporate Tax Department. This internship will allow students to apply their accounting and business skills and gain hands-on work experience. Students will work on critical projects supporting tax, finance, and accounting functions across multiple product lines. The internship will provide students with the opportunity to contribute to the corporate tax functions. During the internship, students will be fully functioning team members within the tax department with responsibility for various tax and finance tasks for Amrize.
Key Responsibilities:
Compiling Indirect Tax records for audit defense, including sales & use tax and property tax
Analyzing financial data for reporting purposes
Scanning, logging, and resolution of Indirect Tax mail and notices
Property Tax workpaper preparation
Special projects
Participate in the process improvement meetings
Process documentation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for enthusiastic students who meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in a B.S or B.A. undergraduate program
Coursework in finance, business, or tax is desirable
GPA: 3.0 or higher
Must be eligible to work in the U.S on a permanent basis
SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT
This is an on-site role; the intern will be expected to be on-site Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
In this internship position, you will be working in Dundee, MI.
You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
