Sr. Electrical Design Engineer III

TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking for a Electrical Design Engineer.

What you will do:

Design electrical systems for data centers.

Work with other teams to create construction documents.

Make sure designs meet quality and budget requirements.

Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Review and approve equipment details.

Define project scope and answer technical questions during construction.

Test and validate electrical systems with commissioning teams.

Handle multiple projects in different regions.

Travel to sites for reviews, audits, and system startups.

Find creative solutions to improve designs and reduce costs.

Basic requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 12+ years of experience.

7+ years in industrial or commercial electrical design.

9+ years creating design plans and documents.

Preferred skills:

Professional Engineering license.

Knowledge of building codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).

Ability to research new technologies and methods.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience with power systems like UPS, generators, and switchgear.

Worked in fast-track projects and large-scale operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
