Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail who excels in managing financial records and transactions. Based in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to the accuracy of accounting processes and ensure compliance with financial standards.

The role is temporarty to hire and 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.

Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Manage the general ledger by verifying and analyzing entries to ensure accuracy.

Generate financial reports and statements for internal and external use.

Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and financial planning efforts.

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations.

Maintain organized and secure financial records for easy access and review.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong proficiency in managing general ledger entries and journal entries.

Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
