Project Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Coordinator who will provide critical support to the Project Management team across multiple energy generation projects. This role involves administrative coordination, material and logistics planning, purchasing support, and outage support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.

Assist in preparation and maintenance of project budgets

Support contractor bid package development

Manage and track purchase orders

Schedule and coordinate meetings with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors

Use business software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation

Maintain NERC/environmental checklists, risk registers, agendas, and meeting minutes

Set up projects in accounting and project management systems

Generate financial reports and assist with monthly forecasting

Process invoices and gather necessary approvals for A/P

Support configuration management and project closeout using ACT software

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of experience in project coordination or support roles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience in energy, utilities, or industrial project environments

Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and invoice processing

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines - Familiarity with NERC compliance and environmental documentation

Knowledge of ACT or similar project management software

Background in logistics or material planning

Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field
