Production Worker - 1st and 2nd Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Production Worker to join our team at North America's largest manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the facility, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting production operations. Key Responsibilities

Clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds.

Adhere to food safety standards , HACCP principles , and GMP protocols at all times.

Operate plant touch screens and follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures accurately.

Safely and effectively use cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, brooms, scrapers, and paint brushes.

Read and understand labels on cleaning products to ensure proper usage.

Support production operations by assisting with packaging, inspection, and machine operation when required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.

Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) .

Familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, and janitorial procedures in an industrial setting.

Experience in food manufacturing or production environment is a plus.

Additional Details

Entry-level position; 1 year of GMP experience preferred .

Must comply with GMP requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, piercings, and artificial nails.

Ability to work scheduled shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belcamp, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
