Position Overview
The Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI organization at Marriott is pioneering the future of hospitality by serving as the company's AI-driven decision nervous center-where data and AI converge to guide every decision. The organization is seeking a Managing Vice President of Analytic Products to lead Marriott's enterprise-wide analytic product portfolio. In this capacity, the MVP of Analytic Products overseeing Generative AI, Data Science (including Traditional AI/ML, statistical modeling, and other advanced modeling techniques), Business Intelligence (BI) Tools & Products, and all analytic capabilities related to generating insight, recommendations and actions. This executive is responsible for shaping and executing a unified strategy that integrates advanced analytics, automation, and intelligence capabilities to drive innovation, operational excellence, and analytical-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, the incumbent brings exceptional executive presence and communication skills, translating complex analytic concepts into clear, compelling narratives that influence strategy, performance, and transformation efforts. The MVP oversees a high-performing team of analytic product leaders, fostering innovation, talent development, and a culture of continuous learning and ethical AI.
This leader ensures the delivery of scalable analytic solutions, the evolution of enterprise BI tools, and the responsible deployment of AI/ML, Gen AI, advanced statistical models, and all analytical capabilities to power insights, recommendations and actions. They champion analytics literacy, promote the adoption of analytic products by focusing on key business needs and maintain strong partnerships with fellow D&A MVPs, business, technology, and external partners to meet evolving enterprise needs. A key focus is the development of AI-powered solutions to power the enterprise, including all activities related to revenue generation and cost savings.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in analytics, AI/ML, BI, or related domains within large, complex organizations.
Extensive experience in traditional or generative AI, statistical modeling, and other advanced modeling techniques, with a proven track record of delivering successful AI projects in a transforming enterprise.
Proven executive-level experience in consultative leadership and strategic business partnership, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide analytic initiatives.
Deep expertise in traditional AI/ML, generative AI, statistical modeling, and enterprise BI platforms.
Experience building or transforming analytic product teams and disciplines for an omnichannel organization.
Highly skilled in Agile methodologies, experienced in pod-driven development methodologies, and highly competent in delivering responsible solutions at speed.
Skilled in prioritizing analytics initiatives based on business impact and resource availability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and AI insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent storyteller, combining their experience with the needs of the business to deliver compelling narratives around current and future work.
Experience negotiating large, multi-year contracts and managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Analytic Products function, overseeing strategic initiatives across Gen AI, Data Science (including statistical modeling and other advanced models), BI Tools & Products, and all capabilities to generate insights, recommendations and actions to each part of the business.
Design and implement a cohesive analytic product strategy that supports enterprise goals and enables data-driven decision-making across business units.
Oversee the development, deployment, and evolution of analytic products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable business value.
Guide the integration of advanced predictive modeling, statistical modeling, generative AI solutions, and enterprisetools to enable actionable insights, recommendations, actions, and automation.
Oversee team structure, resource allocation, and portfolio prioritization to ensure high-impact analytics initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Build and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering professional development, domain expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.
Establish strong relationships with business, technology, and external partners to understand needs, manage expectations, and deliver impactful analytic solutions.
Champion analytics literacy and drive adoption of analytic products to empower business leaders and foster a culture of informed decision-making.
Ensure governance, quality, and ethical use of analytic products and AI across all domains.
