As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in New Kensington, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Maintain awareness of surroundings while circulating throughout the industrial environment, noting and reporting any irregularities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Support access control measures by observing entries and exits, monitoring visitor and employee activity, and reporting any discrepancies.

Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
