As a Security Officer - Access Control Manufacturing in Augusta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include verifying credentials, managing entry points, and staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain control of entry and exit in the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for unusual activity or circumstances.

Verify identification and credentials of employees, visitors and/or contractors upon entry and exit.

Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities or observations according to site and Allied Universal procedures.

Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
