As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Desk Driver in Newton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.

Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor and employee access, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Follow emergency response protocols during incidents such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or other urgent situations.

Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with information regarding security-related matters as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
