As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and supporting a secure environment for all personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent unauthorized access, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

Assist in carrying out security-related procedures according to site-specific policies and protocols.

Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors.

Help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities by observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with onsite personnel and Allied Universal management.

Document and report all security-related incidents, breaches, and activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
