CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking aClient Project Managerto join ourAdvanced Energy & Manufacturing Teamat aclient siteinBessemer City, NC. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to our clients, working directly at their sites to ensure projects are planned, executed, and delivered with excellence.

What You'll Do:

Serve as the primary liaison between the client and engineering teams, streamlining communication and clarifying expectations

Support all phases of the project lifecycle, from scope development and budgeting through procurement, construction oversight, and project closeout

Oversee construction activities to ensure alignment with design intent, quality standards, schedule milestones, and budget goals

Manage contracts, subcontractors, purchase orders, and all related documentation

Monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management

Collaborate with client health and safety teams to develop and monitor project-specific safety plans

Ensure QA/QC standards are met in accordance with the Quality Management Plan

Provide clear and timely updates to client leadership, anticipate needs, and support decision-making

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with client teams to understand priorities and deliver practical solutions

What You Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field required

Minimum of 7 years of experience required; minimum of 5 years of project management experience required

PMP certification preferred

Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents

Proven ability to manage project accounting processes (budgeting, forecasts, cash management)

Strong understanding of client contract requirements

Ability to track and oversee multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style for various audiences

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other management software; knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6 preferred

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel as needed required

Salary Range:

$130,000 - $150,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
