As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Banking in Elk Grove Village, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at financial institution locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Remain alert to unusual activity and/or potential threats, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry points as required by client procedures.

Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible security-related presence to help to deter potential issues and enhance customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
