Job Title: Swing Shift Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Join our team as a Swing Shift Warehouse Associate where you will play a crucial role in managing daily warehouse activities. The shift is from 2pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays from 6am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities

Operate RF scanners to track and manage inventory.

Pick, pull, and stock items efficiently.

Use manual pallet jacks to move heavy items.

Lift items weighing between 50-75 lbs.

Stand and walk for long periods, as well as bending as needed.

Perform basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with RF scanner and RF scanning.

Experience in picking, pulling, and stocking.

Ability to lift between 50-75 lbs.

Basic math skills for addition and subtraction.

Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with warehouse functions, especially stocking and RF scanner preferred but not required.

Knowledge of automotive parts preferred but not required.

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Capability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat.

Work Environment

The role is primarily based outdoors, where you will experience various weather conditions, dirt, and dust. The noise level is typically above average, so being comfortable in a lively environment is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
