Key Responsibilities

Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment and prepare the BOL (bill of lading)

Maintain an adequate supply of materials needed by tracking current inventory and communicating with lead/supervisor timely to allow sufficient time to replenish depleted items

Collaborates and communicates with logistics, customer service, third-party carriers, and others involved in the shipment of products.

Use internal software (Cyltrak) to identify outgoing shipments, verify shipment information and update shipment status

Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health and safety

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Must be able to safely operate a forklift

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers is strongly preferred

Ability to multitask and be flexible to changing priorities

Basic computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel, etc.

Excellent communication skills

High attention to detail and ability to closely follow written instructions

Ability to pass 608 Universal Certification within 90 days of hire
