As a Security Officer - Retail Patrols in Framingham, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Your presence supports a positive shopping experience while you respond promptly to situations, manage access control, and provide excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist visitors, employees, and customers with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.

Support emergency response activities as directed, including cooperating with law enforcement and first responders.

Maintain accurate and timely logs or reports of all activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
