As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol in Albany, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a retail location. Your responsibilities will include regular patrols, monitoring for any security-related incidents, and remaining visible to help deter unwanted activity. You will build positive relationships with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.

Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.

Work closely with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and/or shoppers.

Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
