As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This is a driving post, where you will regularly navigate the premises to maintain visibility and assist with any security-related situations as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related incidents.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols within the retail location.

Assist employees, visitors, and/or shoppers by providing information or directions as needed.

Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and helping to deter theft and/or unauthorized activities.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Primarily driving post is preferred.

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
