As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Holyoke, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a busy retail or mall location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting our company values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for irregularities and reporting any security-related concerns.

Help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access within the retail or mall environment by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Assist with crowd control and direct visitors as needed, supporting a positive customer experience in the location.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services if required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
