Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Buford, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions and ensuring financial accuracy. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all entries are properly recorded.

Prepare and post journal entries, making necessary adjustments as required.

Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.

Generate consolidated financial statements and provide detailed analysis.

Manage inventory accounting, including tracking and reporting inventory balances.

Utilize Sage 100 software for accounting tasks and financial reporting.

Create and maintain spreadsheets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions to support financial analysis.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements - Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.

Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.

Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and practices.

Demonstrated ability to produce accurate consolidated financial statements.

Experience with inventory accounting, including detailed reporting.

Proficient in Sage 100 software for accounting and financial management.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
