We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Installer III professional to lead complex AV system installations, maintenance, and support for classrooms, conference rooms, and collaborative spaces across campus. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What you'll do:
Audiovisual System Planning and Installation
Plan and execute complex, multidisciplinary AV installations, including cable routing, device mounting, rack setup, terminations, and configuration
Direct the work of staff and student employees to ensure high-quality execution and safety standards
Audiovisual System Maintenance
Respond to and resolve advanced AV incidents and service requests, including real-time classroom and event support
Perform scheduled maintenance across campus learning spaces and meeting rooms
Troubleshoot escalated issues from AV Support II technicians
Campus Collaboration and Training
Develop and maintain university-wide AV system standards and best practices
Provide training and mentorship to faculty, staff, and student users of AV technology
Collaborate with peers and partners across campus to coordinate AV planning and implementation
