Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Economics or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in finance, corporate banking, corporate treasury or equivalent capital markets experience.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or financial modeling experience.
Experience with Google productivity tools, data visualization and AI tools.
Understanding of treasury systems and how they support business processes.
Understanding of corporate finance principles and ability to effectively apply it in practice.
Ability to discuss in cross-functional groups to identify issues/resolutions, using business acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will play an integral role in Corporate Finance's daily operational activities, assist in executing Alphabet Treasury's capital markets activities, and work externally with Alphabet's corporate and investment banking partners. You will also help assist members of the team in managing Treasury's banking relationships across all of Treasury's various activities including cash management, risk management, and trading and investments. As part of the Corporate Finance team, you will work cross-functionally within Alphabet and with external banking partners to find innovative ways to enhance shareholder value. You are an exceptional performer with a proven track record, and the desire to learn and succeed in everything you do. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of banking partners and internal stakeholders to execute financing transactions, contribute to agreement structuring and ensure that Google Treasury is optimally sourcing the best and most innovative banking solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$132,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Monitor recent development and ongoing conditions in the US and international capital markets.
Apply corporate finance and general accounting principles in support of Alphabet's capital markets activity and as an advisor to internal Google teams.
Assist in evaluating, structuring and executing Google capital markets transactions, and maintaining relationships with external banking partners.
Develop, maintain or review financial models in support of potential capital markets transaction, and manage quarterly processes in support of the company's debt and equity capital markets activities.
Coordinate internally and externally to ensure seamless capital markets execution and bank relationship engagement, including the development of forecasts, report packages and analytical support tools.
