Job Description
Incumbent will select campus location upon hire. This position exists to lead strategic video communications and support social media engagement and event coordination for Northland Community & Technical College and the National Center for Autonomous Technologies (NCAT). The primary responsibility is to produce authentic, documentary-style video content that elevates brand presence and audience engagement. The incumbent will collaborate with internal teams to identify storytelling opportunities, manage NCAT's social media presence, and assist with event planning and execution. Scope of work includes concept development, filming, editing, motion graphics, captioning, accessibility compliance, and performance tracking. This position also supports broader digital storytelling efforts and represents Northland and NCAT at events and outreach activities.

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience; Master's degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience
Strong video production skills including filming, editing, motion graphics, and accessibility compliance
Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse populations
Well-organized with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
Skill in online technology sufficient for creation and curation of social media and web content and knowledge of digital engagement strategies
Serve as a resource person to the community
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in multimedia, communications, marketing, or related field
Experience with documentary-style storytelling and strategic communications
Ability to understand complex issues impacting the College and its students
Skills in conflict resolution and de-escalation
Experience with performance tracking and data-informed content refinement

29.25 - 42.94 USD Hourly
