Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join a senior center in San Antonio, Texas on a short-term contract basis. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing direct support to daily operations and assisting families in need. Ideal for someone who values flexibility and enjoys contributing to a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and track daily meal deliveries to ensure accuracy and timely distribution.

Coordinate Meals on Wheels shipments twice a month, including assembling care packages for families.

Provide general administrative support across the center, adapting to immediate needs as they arise.

Assist with physical tasks such as organizing supplies and preparing shipments.

Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries to support smooth communication.

Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Greet visitors and manage receptionist duties to create a welcoming environment.

Maintain organization within office spaces and communal areas to support efficient operations. Requirements - Previous experience in administrative roles is preferred but not required.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor, especially in interactions with seniors.

Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

Comfortable performing physical tasks and maintaining mobility throughout the day.

Proficiency in basic office skills such as data entry and answering calls.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
