Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Holt, Michigan. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts receivable operations, including cash applications and billing functions.

Monitor and manage incoming communications related to payments and collections.

Send timely notifications and reminders to clients regarding outstanding balances.

Collaborate closely with the manager to address financial discrepancies and resolve issues.

Assist with clearing backlogged projects to improve operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of cash activity and ensure proper documentation.

Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions align with company standards.

Provide support in the preparation of financial reports and data analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections.

Strong knowledge of cash applications and cash activity tracking.

Proficiency in Excel and ability to adapt to financial systems and tools.

Excellent communication skills for managing client interactions and resolving issues.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Familiarity with commercial collections processes.

Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks.
