Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for Medical Assistants for our client in Seattle, WA !

Type: 3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer

Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, 4 to 5 days a week, 40 hours a week.

Pay: $25 to 30/hr

Location: Onsite Seattle, WA 98115

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)

Assisting with patient examinations and minor procedures

Administering injections and medications as directed

Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests

Preparing and sterilizing medical instruments

Rooming patients and collecting medical histories

Assisting with wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

Completion of an accredited medical assistant program

Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) is required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

At least 6 months of clinical experience preferred

Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems
