Job Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our repair station team. This role involves performing sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications for various aircraft. The project is expected to last over a year, providing a stable and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft.

Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Maintain an organized inventory of personal tools, ensuring they are etched and inventoried.

Work on commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.

Complete structural modifications as needed.

Essential Skills

3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.

Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Experience with various aircraft @types including commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.

Possession of personal tools that are etched and inventoried.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a P145 repair station environment.

Willingness to work 5+ hours of overtime weekly.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a hangar and outdoor environment, allowing for a varied and engaging work setting. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
