Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and accounting systems to support business operations effectively. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and within established deadlines.

Conduct audits of financial statements and records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts to support decision-making processes.

Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms, for streamlined financial management.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Monitor and manage financial workflows using tools like ADP and Concur.

Generate detailed financial reports and summaries for stakeholders.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data.

Assist with the implementation and optimization of accounting software such as Yardi Breeze. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of general ledger functions.

Proficiency in using accounting software systems, including ERP platforms.

Familiarity with ADP, Concur, and Yardi Breeze for financial operations.

Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

Ability to adapt to new systems and tools as required for financial management.
