Kelly is partnering with a local client in the North Charleston area that is looking for a Material Handler who's ready to make an impact and do some heavy lifting throughout the day. You'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything moves smoothly from receiving to distributing

Role:

Material Handler HEAVY LIFTING 90+lbs

Monday through Friday

8am-5pm

$18-$19 hour DOE

Temp-to-Hire

Job Description:

Responsible for the efficient handling of warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and distributing.

Responsibilities:

Execute physical tasks necessary for the movement of inventory within the warehouse.

Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.

Receive and document deliveries, ensuring accuracy and noting any discrepancies.

Store products correctly according to established procedures.

Fulfill customer orders accurately and in compliance with standards.

Assist in delivery duties as required, ensuring timely and satisfactory customer service.

Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting objects up to 70 pounds, standing, walking, bending, etc.

Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

Adaptability to warehouse environment conditions, including seasonal changes and varying temperatures.

Compliance with safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

-Warehouse experience is required

Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

Skills:

Basic computer literacy.

Effective communication.

Mathematical proficiency.

Reading comprehension.

Attention to detail.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Work well under supervision.

Completion of all required training.

Capability to meet physical demands of the job.
