As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Biloxi, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a positive, welcoming environment for all visitors. You will interact with the public, assist with inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service while promoting a sense of order. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Support store management and staff by assisting with security-related matters and maintaining a visible presence.

Assist with access control and/or crowd management during peak hours or special events.

Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security-related occurrences in accordance with company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

It is preferred that candidates are able to lift more than 20 lbs.

It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.

It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
