Seasonal Clerical with Natural Resources 2026

TheSeasonal Clericalposition provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations at the Grounds Management site. This role assists staff and helps maintain organized workflows that support Natural Resources functions.

What You\'ll Do

Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and through email,

providing accurate information about site operations and services.

Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, record

management, and preparing mailings.

Enter and process documentation such as work orders, purchase

orders, and daily reports.

Maintain clean, organized, and efficient office and common areas.

Assist with preparing and distributing materials and resources for

Natural Resources crews.

Follow safety procedures and support a clean, hazard-free work

environment.

Contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere and deliver excellent

customer service.

Carry out additional tasks as needed to support site operations.

What You\'ll Need

Experience in customer service, retail, administration, or a related

field is preferred.

Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of hire.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and

personal services.

Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems.

Social and situational perceptiveness.

Time management skills.

Ability to keep neat and accurate records.

Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Coordination when dealing and working with others.

Schedule & Pay

Three days per week, 6:45 am 2:45 pm.

This position starts around April/May of 2026 and works for

approximately 14 weeks. This position works par-time and has flexible hours.

\$18 - 20 per hour

Work Setting

Position is based out of the Grounds Management Office inside of

Blackwell Forest Preserve.
