Putting out and cleaning up tablecloths and napkins Setting up beverage stations, food drops, and buffets Table service as events require Serving during buffets Cleaning up after food and beverage service, including cleaning and organizing of supplies/inventory Working effectively and efficiently with the events team, facilities team, and catering staff Expediently communicating any challenges, guest complaints or requests to the Supervisor Responding to the Supervisor's instructions and directions. Observing all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties Maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards guests, co-workers and management. Arriving at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work. Adhering to all State, Federal, and Organizational liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to ensure Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage safety Able to successfully complete T.I.P.S. Training and any other required training before first shift Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders. Available for evenings and weekends Driver's License and ability to drive an Arboretum vehicle (Per UMN Policy) Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with Arboretum spaces, personnel, and practices Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $20.00, depending on education/qualifications/experience.
