The Surveying & Geomatics team is seeking a Survey Project Manager in Bellingham, WA. As Survey Project Manager, you will oversee project scopes, schedules, and budgets for a wide range of services including boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys. You'll serve as a mentor to junior team members while also coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure exceptional project delivery. What You'll DoKey Responsibilities: Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and client expectations Perform and review boundary calculations and topographic survey data Oversee quality control for drawings, plats, ALTA maps, and construction staking calculations Guide and support survey crews and office staff, promoting professional development Lead proposal writing and collaborate on project pursuits Ensure compliance with DEA processes for project accounting, documentation, and quality Coordinate with the Geomatics Group and Delivery Leaders to align staffing and project commitments Collaborate with DEA's engineering and planning teams to support integrated project delivery What You BringRequired Qualifications: Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification 8 or more years of experience in land surveying Proven ability to manage projects and mentor technical staff Strong communication and client interaction skills Proficiency in Civil 3D and general understanding of engineering plan sets Preferred Qualifications: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington Familiarity with state and county mapping standards Experience with Trimble Business Center What We Offer?
