Job Title: Warehouse Associate- $18 to 19/HR

Job Description

Join our dynamic team where you will be responsible for pulling and putting away containers and files within the racks. You will stage boxes weighing up to 50 lbs consistently and keep inventory updated through barcode identification. Use pallet jacks to move boxes efficiently and have the opportunity to transition into a Driver position upon permanent employment.

Responsibilities

Pull and store containers and files within designated racks.

Stage boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs consistently.

Maintain accurate inventory through barcode identification.

Utilize pallet jacks to move boxes throughout the warehouse.

Transition to a Driver position, handling local routes upon permanency.

Essential Skills

At least 6 months of previous warehouse experience.

Experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, picking, and packing.

Ability to operate forklifts and manage inventory.

Clean driving record with no more than two points on the license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous driving experience, particularly with bobtail trucks, is a plus.

Must represent the company positively and professionally.

Work Environment

This role is based in a records management company where records are stored across various warehouses. Candidates should not be afraid of heights as tasks include moving boxes up to four floors. The work environment can become warm during summer on the fourth floor. When transitioned to a driving role, you will handle local routes in San Diego, operating vehicles similar to Ryder rental trucks, vans, and cars.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
