Your seat at the table: Shipping Supervisor You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to: Lead, Manage and Drive Accountability (LMA) o Supervise all Shipping Department personnel, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback. o Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. o Ensure proper staffing, training, and cross-functional collaboration within the department. Shipping Operations Management o Coordinate all labeling, picking, packing, and shipping requirements for external shipments. o Review shipment orders for accuracy and manage exceptions in partnership with Sales, including order changes, cancellations, backorders, holds, and specials. o Ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment to meet customer and company standards. Inventory & Warehouse Control o Oversee inventory control of finished goods, including cycle counting and audit participation. o Optimize designated shipping and storage areas to maximize efficiency and space utilization. Continuous Improvement & Performance Optimization o Drive improvement in delivery performance, safety compliance, and overall productivity. o Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, flow, and cost efficiency. Cross-Functional Support & Special Projects o Serve as a backup for the Logistics Manager and Logistics Coordinators as needed. o Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives. We need this seat to have: 3-5 years of experience in distribution and operations. Associate\'s degree in business or related field preferred. Familiarity with ERP system IFS preferred Experience working with and leading union personnel. Attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills.
