As a Security Officer - Resort Access Control in Vinton, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer at a renowned hotel and casino location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will focus on providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and upholding the values of Allied Universal-teamwork, people-first culture, and acting with integrity-while adapting to the dynamic environment of a hotel and resort setting.

Wed04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Thur06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals at the location.

Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Provide customer service by assisting guests, employees, and visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures provided by Allied Universal and the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the hotel, casino, and racetrack areas to support security-related objectives.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific and Allied Universal protocols.

Support emergency response activities and assist with the implementation of site-specific policies as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
