As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Joliet, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, primarily through driving, to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for customers and staff. You will maintain a visible presence, provide friendly assistance, and offer exceptional customer service while responding to various situations as needed. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Mon11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the store and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to assist with loss prevention and help to deter theft or other security-related concerns.

Communicate with store personnel and customers to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Document and report observations or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal's protocols.

Remain visible and approachable to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a positive environment within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Primarily driving post experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
