Now Brewing - manager, program management - Construction & Facilities, Platforms & Insights! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
The manager, program management leads a team and owns and drives the vision, multi-year product portfolio strategy, continued development, and support for the applications used to build and maintain stores. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to work backwards from the customer and champion their success - own the customer relationship, articulate a compelling product narrative with a prioritized set of product requirements and measurable success metrics, and drive alignment for delivery with cross-functional stakeholders.
This is the perfect role for a leader who has experience driving change and developing new ways of working from strategic transformation, technology strategy, product management, and complex, cross-functional initiatives.
As a manager, program management , you will...
Lead and influence with vision: direct the team and cross-functional partners, articulate it in a simple and compelling narrative, define the product roadmap with requirements, and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
Be customer driven: work backwards from the customer, understand their problems and user journeys, and actively champion their success.
Prioritize for impact: understand what success looks like, define it, measure it, and deliver on it. Adapt with strategic priorities, company business goals, and desired outcomes.
Simplify and innovate: reduce complexity of the solutions and systems supporting our customers while pushing for innovation through experimentation of new data sets and capabilities.
Launch and iterate: launch solutions and learn, then do it again -- iteratively deliver value by working through the entire product development lifecycle.
Collaborate and communicate: bring cross-functional teams (business SMEs, software engineers, data scientists, architects, designers, vendors, etc.) along with you on the journey through collaboration and clear communication.
