Stockroom Clerk

Job Description

As an entry-level Stockroom Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving materials and products into stock, accurately pulling and delivering them to the production floor. Your focus will be on maintaining traceability accuracy, updating the inventory database, and performing inventory transactions on all materials issued from the Stockroom. You will support inventory management and ensure timely delivery of materials to the production floor.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts of parts in the Stockroom.

Receive materials into stock and complete transactions to remove materials from stock.

Pull orders manually and deliver parts and materials to the production floor using push carts.

Maintain strict control over all transactions entering and exiting the Stockroom.

Ensure inventory is stored in correct locations and within defined boundaries.

Execute transactions using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

Assign lot numbers for all incoming and outgoing transactions.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area by adhering to clean-as-you-go practices.

Be flexible to work extra hours as needed.

Provide excellent service to the Production Floor to assist in achieving daily goals.

Essential Skills

Basic computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Experience in inventory control and cycle counting.

Proficiency with RF scanners and data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Strong attention to detail in managing inventory transactions.

Work Environment

Work in a very large, clean manufacturing environment where products for the interiors of Boeing 737 aircrafts are manufactured, including galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
