As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Access Entry in Independence, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, checking badges, and verifying visitor credentials. Your role involves regular patrols of the premises, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will use computer or tablet systems to support access control functions. Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access points at the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and/or identify potential issues.

Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including coordination with on-site personnel and first responders as needed.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and promote a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
