Medical Data Entry Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Scarborough, Maine. This is a long-term contract position offering consistent hours, Monday through Friday, in a fully onsite capacity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and organizing medical records while assisting with administrative tasks to support our healthcare operations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input and update medical records into the designated systems.

Retrieve and organize patient files as needed for various medical processes.

Perform general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.

Verify the accuracy and completeness of medical data entries.

Collaborate with team members to support healthcare-related workflows.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare data protection regulations.

Conduct routine audits of medical records to ensure consistency and compliance.

Assist in preparing reports or documentation related to patient records.

Respond to requests for medical information promptly and professionally. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or data entry roles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints.

Familiarity with handling sensitive medical information and maintaining confidentiality.

Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of healthcare or medical record management practices is a plus.
