re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a Systems Support Engineer for its Reverse Logistics operation based in CVG110 for our 2nd shift. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives. Travel up to 10% of the time.
Key job responsibilities
The Systems Support Engineer for its Reverse Logistics operation based in CVG110 to help build and maintain the failure analysis testing infrastructure for the world's premier cloud computing platform. This is your opportunity to work in a multi-platform, international lab environment.
Our support engineers manage, and maintain test automation infrastructure across numerous platforms and architectures (x86, AMD, ARM). They implement automated hardware testing solutions and reporting processes for various network and server components to ensure the highest possible hardware quality for customers.
Key job responsibilities
· Deploy and maintain testing environments for Failure Analysis of platforms and components
· Utilize source control and change management systems to document and deploy code
· Utilize, review, and improve internal documentation
· Audit and maintain inventory levels of consumable materials for testing infrastructure
A day in the life
A Systems Support Engineer will be the face of the Test Engineering team in the Failure Analysis labs. They will own deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the hardware and software required for all test environments. Additionally, they will operate as a liaison between the Test Engineering, Failure Analysis, Operations and Hardware Engineering teams from time to time when troubleshooting issues that span multiple groups or systems.

Basic Qualifications
1+ years of work in at least two of these languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell experience
Knowledge of networking fundamentals
Experience in Linux systems administration and/or development
Experience working in at least two of these languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in computer science related fields OR 2+ years equivalent experience in systems support
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience
1+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience
Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems

Experience in network capture and systems troubleshooting
Experience building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
