As a Unarmed Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a prominent manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. This primarily driving role involves routine patrols, remaining highly visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business property and its perimeter.

Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area.

Support Allied Universal in upholding client expectations through professional conduct and adherence to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Experience in customer service is preferred.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience in driving-related posts is preferred.

Holding a Guard Card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
