Job Title: Industrial Assembler

Responsibilities

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or similar tools to assemble components.

Mount assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.

Connect component wires to circuits and between individual component leads.

Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

Operate and tend to machines, adjusting or trimming materials from components as necessary.

Position or align components and parts using templates or measurements.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure specifications are met.

Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.

Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.

Verify specifications by measuring completed components.

Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.

Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Manage inventory by checking stock levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.

Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.

Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
