As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol Driver in Independence, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and interacting with personnel to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entry points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, or disruptive behavior.

Communicate and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or hazards discovered during patrols to appropriate personnel and/or management.

Maintain detailed records of all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.

Operate security-related equipment and systems as directed, following all site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
