Role Overview:

Managers in Training direct the workflow of Customer Service Representatives and assist with the overall duties and responsibilities of the branch. A Manager in Training will float to any branch in the Region to assist or develop work skills to later advance to a member of management. You will assist the Branch Manager in assessing branch needs as well as conduct meetings with staff. You will work alongside leadership to train, develop, and mentor Customer Service Representatives to be the best employees they can be.

This position will serve at the Angola, Indiana, BMV Branch Office. Hours of operation are:

Sunday: Closed

Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturday: Closed

Salary:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320 per year, but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are:

Oversee the branch's daily operations.

Conduct meetings with branch staff.

Assist leadership with scheduling for the branch.

Assist with the daily opening and closing of the branch.

Complete weekly reports.

Complete daily records for all balances and deposits.

Aid leadership in the resolution of escalated customer complaints.

Partner with Branch Manager and HR staff to ensure training, development, evaluation, and discipline is completed in accordance with policy.

Monitor BMV inventory and office supplies.

What You'll Need for Success:

Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) years of experience as a manager in a service industry.

Additional qualifications:

Ability to communicate exceptionally with all variety of employees and customers.

Experience with writing reports and presenting.

A high level of critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot.

A drive to assist with the training and development of BMV employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
