Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Cornelius, North Carolina. This long-term contract role involves managing and optimizing accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate cash flow and efficient billing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and fostering positive relationships with commercial clients. Project based invoicing or construction experience a must.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Oversee commercial collections to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding issues.

Apply cash receipts to customer accounts while maintaining precise records.

Handle billing functions, ensuring invoices are issued correctly and in a timely manner.

Monitor cash activity and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoice processing and address payment concerns.

Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable performance and outstanding balances.

Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues and maintain strong relationships.

Support audits and compliance checks related to financial operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable management, including commercial collections.

Proficiency in handling cash applications and billing processes.

Strong understanding of invoice processing and cash activity reconciliation.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Familiarity with financial reporting and audit preparation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
