Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Vero Beach, Florida. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in corporate tax, financial reporting, and reconciliation while contributing to the organization's growth.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

Oversee sales tax filings and address related inquiries from regulatory agencies.

Record and analyze journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Generate detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes.

Assist in the preparation of audit reports and collaborate with auditors during reviews.

Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Support the team in maintaining compliance with internal accounting standards and procedures. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.

Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and procedures.

Proficiency in handling sales tax and corporate tax return filings.

Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Ability to prepare audit reports and work effectively with auditors.

Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data.

Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
