As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Corning, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your active presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain visibility, and support a positive environment by communicating clearly and responding to situations as needed. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for unusual activity or security-related issues throughout the location.

Report security-related incidents and/or hazards according to established procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement when necessary to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
