DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the Production Manager and Supervisory staff in overseeing high-volume, on-demand printing, mail, and bindery activities. The incumbent provides day-to-day assistance in workforce coordination, workflow monitoring, inventory control, equipment support, and quality assurance, with an emphasis on ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met. This role serves as a key liaison between frontline employees and management, helping to execute policies, resolve production issues, and support continuous process improvement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Essential Employee - Required to report to work during emergencies and office closings. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Organization or Location Restriction: This posting is limited to applicants employed by the Department of General Services, Bureau of Publications.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must have experience managing employees. You must have experience working in a print and/or mail manufacturing environment. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

This position is not subject to the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.
